taking the blame for carrying out bad ticketing policies and using systems that
result in bad ticketing. The continued practice of using tickets to generate revenue
and the demands the city places on agents and officers to write more tickets are
the root cause of the tension between Traffic Agents, Police Officers and you, the
men and woman simply trying to deliver the products and services the City
needs and expects?
NYTDA demands that this administration give back the dignity to our fine officers
of the law and stop making them instruments to propel finances, let our men and
woman in blue do the job they hired on to do, protect and serve the citizens of
New York Give them the same respect we do! Stop discrimination of the
trucking and delivery industry for infrastructure and parking that was already
inadequate and the administration has reduced even more with unused plazas
and underused bike lanes. Now we have less places to park to deliver goods and
services and are ticketed more.
